Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club
Welcome to Breakfast Club,
We are pleased to provide an out of school childcare link for parents of children attending Westfield Primary School. We aim to deliver a high class professional service to ensure each child is kept safe, secure and happy while attending the club. We will provide an enabling environment to support every child’s learning and development through play and planned activities. Our resources will be rotated every day. Staff will respect children’s choices with child led play being foremost to adult led activities.
For children up to the age of 5 years the club has a legal responsibility to complement the learning and development requirements of the EYFS in line with schools planning, and must meet the welfare regulations of the statutory framework of the EYFS.
The daily routine of the breakfast session will be: parents to enter the premises with their child to sign them in, breakfast – a range of healthy breakfast options together with a drink. Several play resources will be available for children to play before being accompanied by a staff member to their classroom at 8:40am.
