Good morning, 

Thank you for the pictures of the new brooms that I was sent yesterday for the witch, she will be able to fly around really fast now!

For your writing task today, continuing with Room on the Broom, I would like you to create a potion that the witch can use to make her new broom.  Think about the ingredients that would be needed to make it and then write a recipe for your potion.  This task follows one on your Home Learning Grid also, so feel free to make more than one potion.  You can use any ingredients and you could even make it using a 'mud kitchen' with soil and natural resources.  (Feel free to pretend that ingredients are different, eg. a green, wet leaf could be the slime from a toad!)  You can even think about writing a spell for the witch to say when she mixes the potion for her new broom.
