Good morning,

Today is Bailey's birthday! Bailey is one of our Border Terrier dogs and he is 6 today, he is the dog who came to visit us in school just before Christmas.  In our house, we have decided to throw Bailey a birthday party to celebrate.  We have made a list of things that we need to prepare for the party; birthday cards, invitations, decorations, cupcakes, party food, music and games.  

For your writing task today, could you create a party for either Bailey, a pet of your own or a teddy/toy of yours.  You could prepare the same things as we are and any other ideas that you have.  I will let you choose the next part of your writing task, you have the choice of; writing a set of instructions about how you made something (cupcakes, decorations, etc) or you could write some sentences to recount the party, telling me what happended in time order.
