The curious case of the bones in the sandpit

Early this morning, Mrs Mcilroy noticed that the sandpit had been opened a little bit so Willow Class went outside to investigate.  When they opened up the sandpit, the children found bones buried in the sand! We carefully dug up the bones and took them back into class where we also found jigsaw pieces of a woolly mammoth! Willow Class will continue to investigate this further.
