Oak Class Home Learning 26.03.2020
Date: 26th Mar 2020 @ 8:53am
Good morning Oak Class!
The weather is putting a big smile on my face this week – it’s sunny again! Woo hoo! I hope you are enjoying the sunshine as much as I am.
English
Design your own Amazon rainforest tree house for Fred and the others to live in.
Consider the following:
- What size and shape will it be?
- What handy features will it have to make life easier for them?
- How many rooms will it have and what is in them?
Draw a diagram of your tree house on a blank page and add detailed, descriptive labels to explain the features. You could colour it in too if you like.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with! I always dreamed of having my own tree house when I was a little girl.
Maths
Yellow – p.21 (making totals)
Blue – p.33 (multiplication facts)
Purple – p.29 (multiplication facts)
Orange – p.26 (multiplication)
Some little reminders:
- If your work doesn’t have an ‘I can’ set for it, then please title your work as something appropriate that makes the learning intention clear.
- If you want to post a picture of your work or an edited version then please do this on your personal blog.
- You can also ask your parents/carers to email me any work or photos of your work at my new email – mrsdavies@westfieldprimaryschool.com
- The learning grid tasks are to be completed at ‘some point’ during this week so don’t worry about completing them all in one day. There is no pressure - complete tasks at your own pace.
Have a fabulous day! Missed you yesterday, miss you still.
