Good morning Oak Class!

I hope you had a lovely day yesterday. Today is Friday which means that the weekend starts very soon!

Reading

By Monday, I would like all of you to finish reading the rest of chapter three from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Monday’s task will move on to chapter four.

Writing

It’s been a while since we were last in school and I can appreciate that you are all missing your friends (I’m missing mine too). With this in mind (and keeping with the theme of yesterday’s writing task) I would like you to write a letter to Oak Class.

Instead of addressing just one person, your letter needs be addressed to Oak Class. Think about what you would like to tell your peers and what questions you would like to ask them.

Include the following things in your letter:

• Questions aimed at your audience
• Fun things you have done whilst at home
• Worries you might have had whilst off school
• Any news that you would like to share with the class
• Your hopes and wishes for the next few weeks

I hope you all have a fabulous Friday. Where possible, I would like to read these letters so either post it onto your personal blog, or ask an adult to send it to me via email.
