Good morning Maple Class, hope you are all ok. I’ve been in school with a few of our pupils for the last 2 days and it was lovely to see them. I’d love to know what you’ve all been doing, have any of you been doing your personal blogs? Thank you to those of you who have sent me photos through email. I’ve really enjoyed seeing them.

Today’s English task - Write the problem/main event paragraph of your story

What problem will your characters need to overcome? 

Remember the cave bear in Stone Age Boy, Winter and grandma’s illness in Winter’s Child or the Ice King in the The Ice Palace.

Remember to use:-

• Varied punctuation
• Dialogue
• Expanded noun phrases using ambitious vocabulary
• Prepositions and adverbial phrases

In my story, the magical boy who Annie has met is going to stop time (this is why he could move so fast and disappeared from her view).
