Maple Class Easter activities
Date: 7th Apr 2020 @ 10:07am
Hi everyone! Although I won’t be posting daily tasks over the Easter holidays, I thought I’d add a few ideas for activities to do over the 2 weeks to keep you busy if you are at home and twiddling your fingers, wondering what to do. So here it is:-
- Find a piece of paper and write the letters A-Z down the side, then go for a walk or look in your garden or house. Can you see/find something that starts with each letter of the alphabet?
- Set a treasure hunt with clues around your house for a member of your family to complete.
- Make an obstacle course in your house or garden.
- Make a den.
- Review a film you have watched or a book you have read. I have added a blog for this on the class blog so you can post your reviews.
- Add information that you researched or found out through the beginning of our topic to the Oceans and Ocean Life blog that I have created.
- There are also some great museums, galleries and places of interest that are doing virtual tours online. These are some of my favourites:

https://www.chesterzoo.org/schools/resources/?search=&types=at-home – the zoo have also been doing some video tours with the keepers so check out their YouTube channel.
Most importantly, enjoy time with your family over Easter and stay safe and healthy!
