Hello again Larch Class.

How are we all doing today? I hope we learned some interesting things about the Rainforest yesterday. It truly is a fantastic place.

For today's writing task I want you to plan a story, which you will write tomorrow.

Now here are some ideas-you could be an animal in the rainforest and do the story from their point of view, or you could be an explorer, or someone who lives in the rainforest!

The plan needs 5 sections, write 2 sentences to explain each part.

1-Setting and characters- You need to describe the setting and the key characters.

2-Build up- Laying down the foundations for the rest of story-something is happening such as tremors, or workmen moving in, or a dark smoke slowly filling the rainforest!

3-The problem-something bad has happened/is happening that needs solving!

4-The solution-the climax of the story- this is how the problem will be solved.

5-Ending-do not just write 'they all lived happily ever after' or 'the end', think of a good way to end your story after the problem is solved.

Remember, you are not actually writing your story today, but sentences in each section just explaining what it is.
