Hi Larch class, 

hope your first day of home learning went well. School was very quiet without you all there.

Today's writing task, keeping along the lines of 'the future', is for you to write a description of what you think the world will be like in 100 years time. But, for you to do that, you need to draw a picture of what you think the future looks like. On a blank page draw what you think our country will be like in 100 years time, then write a description of that.

Success criteria:

-expanded noun phrases to describe your nouns-'out of my window I saw a blue, slimy alien walking his pet chihuahua'

-make sure you stick to either 1st person or 3rd person for the whole text

-use some really exciting adjectives-use the internet or a thesaurus to help you
