Beech Class Home Learning 27.03.2020
Date: 27th Mar 2020 @ 9:09am
Hello Beech Class children and parents!
Thank you for the effort in completing some of the work set this week. It's such a difficult time for all and I really appreciate the time spent on school tasks. Next week I will post a new home learning grid for you to choose activities from throughout the week. These are just suggestions for activities as I know some parents are working from home as well at this time and it can be a real juggling act combining work and school under one roof especially if there are a number of children at home.
The most important thing right now is that we all feel safe and that we are making the absolute best out of this bizarre situation. Playing, making, cooking, talking, reading, building, gardening, watching and listening is all learning so try not to feel the burden of filling your days with explicitly teaching your children.
In addition, if parents and children have shared interests that are not on the learning grid then feel free to let your own curiosity and interests guide your activities and learning! I know some already have and shared this with me via email. Great job!
Writing
For the final writing task of the week I would like you to design a new toy. Can you label it? What special features does it have? How much will it cost? Where can you buy it from?
