Hello Beech Class!

I do hope that you had an enjoyable and safe weekend.

Each day I will be posting a writing task for you to complete and you may choose to share this on our Purple Mash blog but it is not essential. In addition to this task, there are also activities that you may choose to complete on Education City and Bug Club.

Imagine that your favourite toy came to life! What would it do? Where would it go?

Below is an example of my own to give you an idea how to start.

Geoffrey the giraffe waited for Mrs Crook to leave the house when he suddenly crept out from the basket that he had been carefully placed into the night before. How long would she be gone for? Would the other toys join in with his fun ideas? What a day he had planned for himself! The first thing that Geoffrey had always wanted to do was have pancakes for breakfast but he needed some help...
