I hope that you enjoyed reading chapter 1 of The Fantatsic Mr Fox. 

Writing

Today I would like you to read chapter 2 with an adult. I would like to to try and think about these questions whilst reading:

• What happened every evening as soon as it got dark?
• Why did Mr Fox steal from the farmers?
• Which phrases on page 8 tell you that the farmers were angry with Mr Fox?

Now I would like you to write a letter to Mr Fox warning him about what the farmers are planning to do.
