I hope that you had a great weekend, the weather was lovely :)

I have attached a new home learning grid for you this week where you can choose some activities from. Bug Club, Purple Mash and Education City are also still available for you to access. If you happen to create something or learn something new at home that is not on the grid then I would still really like to hear about it via email mrscrook@westfieldprimaryschool.com

Writing

It was clear that some of you really enjoyed the poem that we looked at last week. I loved seeing your own versions so I thought that we would do a little more work on poems this week. We are going to write a poem about the 4 seasons.

For today I would like you to split a page in half and write 'Spring' on one side and 'Summer' on the other side. I want you to write down words that describe the weather, plants, trees and animals associated with each season. 

This is just part of our planning phase that will last for 2 days before we bring it together into our own poem at the end of the week.
